Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need a doctor’s referral letter to see a dietitian?
A: No referral is required. You can book a consultation directly through our online form, hotline or WhatsApp. If you have recent blood test reports from the past 3 to 6 months (such as blood glucose, lipids, or renal function data), we recommend you to bring them along for our dietitians to conduct a more precise clinical assessment.
2. What should I prepare for my first consultation?
A: To ensure your consultation as efficient and precise as possible, we recommend bringing:
- A 3-day food record (simple text or photos are fine)
- Recent blood test or medical reports (if available)
- Names and dosages of current medications or supplements (if available)
- Doctor’s referral letter (optional)
Even if you are unable to prepare these in advance, our dietitian will still conduct a comprehensive dietary and lifestyle assessment during your first session.
3. Why do I need follow-up sessions? Can’t I just get a meal plan in one visit?
A: Developing long-term healthy habits requires time and systematic fine-tuning.
- Master the Basics: Start by putting portion sizes and balanced nutrition into practice.
- Overcome Real-World Obstacles: Learn how to navigate dining out, family meals, and social events without feeling restricted.
- Track and Adjust: We continually adapt your nutrition plan based on your body composition changes (e.g. body fat and muscle mass) or updated lab reports.
We focus on sustainable lifestyle changes—no drastic diets, but results that last.
4. Do you offer online consultation services?
A: Yes! In addition to in-person consultations, we offer online sessions (via Zoom) for seniors with limited mobility, busy working parents, pregnant women, or clients residing overseas from their homes.
5. Can family members, caregivers, or domestic helpers accompany me to the consultation?
A: Absolutely! Having family members or domestic helpers who manage cooking join the session helps our dietitian understand your actual kitchen routine and address your caregiver's specific needs. Our dietitian will provide clear, easy-to-follow meal preparation guidelines to ensure seamless execution at home.
